The Muse Rooms – New CoWorking Space Opens Second Location in Hollywood Featuring Speakeasy, Green Screen And More For Creatives!
The Muse Rooms recently opened the doors to their new location in Hollywood located at 3800 Barham Blvd. This location expands the co-working space from their original Burbank offices (826 S Victory Blvd, Burbank, CA 91502) which debuted in 2015. Founders Nancy and Tim Sexton were on hand giving attendees tours of the space and hosted a catered party (Alligator Pear Catering) for attendees to celebrate the occasion. An official ribbon cutting ceremony took place featuring members from the Burbank Chamber of Commerce, city council, mayor’s office and more.
The event offered a unique opportunity to scope out the hottest new co-working space in the Los Angeles area, while meeting current and future members over food, drinks and conversation. The Muse Rooms is one of the few success stories of co-working spaces that were able to survive the pandemic and offers small businesses and creatives a new home as the economy reopens and the city rebuilds.
The space itself is not your typical corporate coworking design. Nancy and Tim worked with the builder to custom build the space which features colorful decor and iconic memorabilia featuring Hollywood imagery of the biggest stars and movies. The unique layout offers single and multi-person offices, a round table meeting room (often rented as a writer’s room for TV/Film productions), a common area of desks for day rentals, and a large conference room equipped with a green screen and black & white backdrops for filming and photography. There’s even a hidden speakeasy behind one of the bookshelves but you’ll have to visit to see it! The speakeasy is sound proofed and features digital art that comes to life using your iPhone and QR code and can be rented for small groups parties.
About Muse Rooms
The Muse Rooms was originally founded in 2015 and prior to the pandemic had three locations across Los Angeles. Like many, they were forced to shutter two locations to keep their original Burbank space alive. In fact, Nancy and The Muse Rooms was selected as one of three businesses to speak before Congress about their experience with the SBA loan applications and the struggles of small business during this time. Now, as the California economy struggles to emerge from the pandemic, The Muse Rooms looks to provide small businesses and creatives with a home to get their careers and organizations back up and running.
